Joe Divack hired as DumpBuster Coordinator

Joe Divack was hired as the DumpBusters coordinator in March 2012. Joe started volunteering on his own to clean up illegal dumpsites in 2009 and later worked with Allegheny CleanWays in 2010 to develop the DumpBusters program. Joe and a small group of volunteers go out nearly every day to tackle illegal dumps of all sizes and remove an average of 900-1200 lbs of debris daily. People of all skill levels are welcome to join the DumpBusters crew. If you are interested, contact Joe by phone (412) 381-1301 or email Joe.Divack@alleghenycleanways.org.

Thank you Joe for your hard work and dedication to cleaning up illegal dumps in Allegheny County!

Allegheny CleanWays Gets a New Pickup Truck!

Thanks to a very generous donation from the Babcock Charitable Trust and an individual donor, we were able to purchase this 2008 Ford F-150 to replace the 1992 Toyota that died on us last year.

We are THRILLED to have a reliable (and good-looking!) vehicle.
